The Letters collection comprises the written correspondence of military and civilian personalities starting in the 19^th century. The first and second world wars can be deciphered in a different way than that of theory and scholars, by reading the letters of soldiers, non-commissioned officers and officers on the battlefields as well as those of people left home or even in the occupied territory. The collection was started at the beginning of our institution and has grown constantly over the years with acquisitions and donations.
