This collection consists of a part of the records created by the ”Graves of War fallen Heroes” Society that later became the ”Heroes’ Cult Establishment” and was then disbanded, in 1948. Following that, the museum was given the latter’s records, stored and preserved them under the name Heroes’ Cult collection. Over the years, additional funds, from donations, were either added to the original documents or created inside the National Military Museum by the War Memorial Office, that was given the task of continuing the activity of the ”Heroes’ Cult Establishment” until 1952. Nowadays, a large portion of this records fund has been taken by the National Office of Heroes’ Cult.
